A portion of the federal road passing through Oke-Ola Oro in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State has reportedly become a death trap, leaving residents and motorists worried about their safety.

The road, which serves as an important link for people within the community and neighbouring areas, has deteriorated considerably, making movement increasingly difficult and dangerous.

Residents and concerned groups say they have made several appeals to the Federal Ministry of Works to rehabilitate the affected portion, but their efforts have so far yielded no meaningful intervention.

They are now renewing their call on the Federal Government to urgently inspect the road and commence repairs before the deteriorating condition leads to a serious accident or loss of lives.

The residents say Oke-Ola Oro cannot continue to wait while the condition of the road worsens.
