Kwara Governor Visits Rescued Woro Kidnap Victims in Ilorin

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has visited victims of the Woro community attack who were recently rescued after spending months in captivity.

The victims arrived in Ilorin on Thursday night following their rescue through sustained military operations and coordinated efforts by security agencies.

During the visit, Governor AbdulRazaq expressed relief over their safe return and assured them of the state government’s continued support as they recover from the ordeal.

The governor also commended the security agencies involved in the rescue operation and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening security across Kwara State.

The victims were abducted during the deadly attack on Woro community in Kaiama Local Government Area of the state.
