SDP Share-Oke-Ode Candidate, Ajileye, Receives Rousing Welcome In Share

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for Share-Oke-Ode Constituency in the forthcoming Kwara State House of Assembly election, Chief Olusegun Ajileye, has received a warm and cheerful reception from party executives, leaders, stakeholders and residents during his visit to Share in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Ajileye was received by the SDP executives as part of his ongoing grassroots consultations and engagements ahead of the forthcoming elections.

Speaking on behalf of the party executives, the SDP Chairman in Ifelodun Local Government Area, Alhaji Jimoh Ayinke, expressed the party's readiness to work towards victory for the SDP and its candidates at the polls.

Ayinke assured that the party would take its campaign to every nook and cranny of the constituency, with a renewed focus on grassroots mobilisation and engagement.

Also speaking separately, SDP elders, women leaders and youth leaders in Share described the party's structure in the town as unbeatable.

They pledged that all hands would be on deck to support and work with the party's candidates, expressing their determination to strengthen the party's presence across the constituency.

Speaking during the engagement, Chief Olusegun Ajileye appreciated the SDP executives, leaders, supporters and residents for the warm reception accorded him.

Ajileye said his decision to venture into politics was motivated by his desire to bring his experience and prowess as a voice of the people into public service.

He said he was particularly interested in ensuring that marginalised communities have meaningful access to the dividends of democracy and are adequately represented in government.

According to him, his political aspiration is also driven by a desire to contribute positively to the development of Ifelodun and leave behind a legacy that would earn him a place in the good history of politics in the local government, Kwara State and beyond.

Ajileye maintained that effective representation must go beyond occupying political positions, stressing the importance of giving the people a strong voice and ensuring that their concerns are heard and addressed.

The engagement forms part of his ongoing grassroots consultations and mobilisation across the Share-Oke-Ode Constituency ahead of the election.
