Lawal Olanrewaju Dismisses Rumours of Defection, Reaffirms Commitment to APC
APC 2026 Kwara Assembly aspirant Lawal Olanrewaju David has dismissed rumours of defection, reaffirming his loyalty to the party and its leadership.

Lawal Olanrewaju David, popularly known as LOD, has dismissed rumours that he is planning to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the reports as untrue.
Olanrewaju, who is an APC member from Omupo Constituency and a 2026 Kwara State House of Assembly aspirant, reaffirmed his commitment to the party and its leadership.
He expressed continued support for President Bola Tinubu and Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, stressing that his loyalty to the party remains firm despite any challenges or differences that may arise.
He said he believes in resolving disagreements through dialogue, mutual respect and established party channels, while maintaining that his priority remains the unity, progress and success of the APC.
