The death of Alhaji Abdulganiyu Omoola, Chairman of KASMAG Line and founder of the Association of Independent Transporters (AIT), has triggered emotional reactions, with associates expressing shock and sadness over the loss of the respected transport operator.

One of the tributes came from an associates, Khadijat Eyitanwa Lawal who recalled her recent encounters with the late Omoola, describing his death as unexpected and difficult to come to terms with.

Recounting their last meeting at a function organised by the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), the associate said she had engaged Omoola in his usual friendly teasing, prompting the deceased to jokingly threaten to report her to hee father, Alhaji Najeem Usman Yasin.

The associate also recalled visiting KASMAG garage a few weeks ago to check on Omoola early in the morning, only to be informed that he was not around.

According to her, the absence was unusual because the late transport leader was known to be available at his office during the early hours of the day.

Expressing his grief, another associate, and a popular broadcaster in Kwara State, Shola Seriki, described Omoola's death as a painful loss, noting that his contributions and legacy would remain unforgettable despite his passing.

He acknowledged that death was inevitable and submitted to the will of the Creator, while praying for Allah's mercy and forgiveness for the deceased.

He also prayed that Allah grants the late KASMAG chief eternal rest and gives his family, associates, and members of the transport community the strength to bear the loss.
