Monarch Applauds Kwara Government Over Police Patrol Vehicle Donation
NewsmongerA monarch praises the Kwara State Government following the donation of a Kwara Security Initiative patrol vehicle to the Police Oro Division.

Paramount Ruler of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II (JP), has commended the Kwara State Government for providing an operational vehicle to the Oro Divisional Police Headquarters to strengthen security operations in the area.

The traditional ruler expressed his appreciation to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON) and the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, CP Ojo Adekimi, for their commitment to improving security and their prompt response to the needs of the police division.

In an appreciation message issued on Tuesday through the Media Office of his palace, Oba Oyatoye described the donation as a significant step towards enhancing police mobility and strengthening security across Oro Kingdom and neighbouring communities.

He noted that the vehicle would improve the ability of police officers to respond to security threats and emergencies, while providing greater reassurance to residents, business owners and visitors.

The monarch also called on prominent indigenes of Oro Kingdom, corporate organisations and other community stakeholders to support the government's efforts by investing in security equipment, logistics and local vigilante initiatives.

According to him, sustaining peace and protecting lives and property require continuous cooperation among the government, security agencies, traditional institutions and host communities.

Oba Oyatoye stressed that collective responsibility remains essential to maintaining a safe environment where residents can conduct their daily activities and businesses without fear.

He urged stakeholders to build on the government's intervention by contributing meaningfully to community security efforts, noting that effective security requires sustained collaboration beyond government action alone.

The monarch's commendation highlights the importance of cooperation between the state government, law enforcement agencies and traditional institutions in addressing security challenges and protecting communities across Kwara State.
