Kwara Poly Rector Urges Muslim Community to Uphold Peace, Tolerance at Maulud
Kwara State Polytechnic Rector, Engr. Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed, has urged the institution’s Muslim community to uphold peace, tolerance, justice and compassion in the spirit of Maulud Nabbiy.

NewsmongerPhoto: GoogleThe Rector of Kwara State Polytechnic, Engineer Abdul Jimoh Mohammed, has urged the institution’s Muslim community to uphold the values of peace, tolerance, mutual respect and compassion as Muslims commemorate this year’s Maulud Nabbiy.
In a goodwill message to the Polytechnic Muslim Ummah, the Rector called on staff and students to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, particularly his commitment to justice, humility, empathy and service to humanity.
He described the Maulud celebration as an opportunity for Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s legacy and apply his teachings to their daily lives.
Engineer Abdul Jimoh said these values remain important to building a peaceful and inclusive Polytechnic community, while also helping students develop into responsible professionals and citizens.
The Rector wished the Polytechnic Muslim Ummah a peaceful and fulfilling Maulud celebration, praying for continued peace, prosperity and understanding within the institution.
